Stay tuned! Fresh “Musings of a Middle-Aged Geek” are coming soon…

Just wanted to say that I’m taking a week off to celebrate 20 wonderful years with my wife and convention partner in crime, Jules. We’re spending a few days in Oahu, Hawaii, so if I don’t wind up as a shark turd or a piece of flotsam in the middle of the Pacific, I will be back!

^ 2018’s “Meg”, or a foreshadowing of my Hawaiian trip if things don’t go as planned. For those who are curious, my review of “The Meg” here:

When I return there will be the usual movie reviews (the remake of “Child’s Play” is high on my list, as are a few others), and I’ve also started tackling Netflix’s “Haunting of Hill House” (first episode was very promising). And of course, there will be extensive coverage of both San Diego Comic Con and Star Trek Las Vegas!

The San Diego Convention Center, July of 2018. Looking forward to revisiting my ‘home away from home’ next month, and I look forward to sharing all of it with my readers!

So while I won’t be posting new content for about a week, there’s still a TON of archived content on this site to peruse; movie reviews (a mix of new as well as my ‘retro-musings’), television reviews (Star Trek, Orville, Twilight Zone & others) as well as extensive photo coverage of many conventions past. Please avail yourselves and enjoy!

Stay tuned…

Me, in my “Stone Trek” cosplay (a Star Trek/Fred Flintstone mashup).
