Today, I heard some truly terrific news that I’d like to take this opportunity to share wi–

— um, yes, er, of course, Madame Secretary.

* ahem *

A couple weeks ago, I had the intense displeasure of writing this post:

SyFy cancels “The Expanse,” and the grieving begins…

Then today, I heard this:

To those who are averse and/or allergic to links, it says season 4 of “The Expanse” will continue on Amazon Prime.   Woo-hoo!

I am just crazy-happy about this news!

As I’ve said in previous posts, I’m a Johnny-come-lately to “The Expanse.”  I rented the DVDs via Discflix only a year ago or so, and I’ve not yet read the books (hey, I’m 51 years old; the back door is a lot closer than the front..).

But I’m no less passionate a fan of this amazing series.  So hearing that Amazon stepped up and saved this fine series from the junk heap was just about the best news I’ve heard all day.

To the entire cast (one of whom I’ve recently had the pleasure of meeting in person) and crew of “The Expanse”, I’m thrilled for all of you.  Your continued employment equals quality entertainment for moi.   Win-win, right?

This may be my shortest post ever, because I need to get away from the computer for awhile and do a happy dance.

Oh, and bite me,  SyFy network.

    I’ve been reading your posts and it’s wonderful to read all the enthusiasm. I also got late in the game with this show, but watched the 3 seasons in 2 weeks, very recently. I’m so in love and hardly can wait for season 4.

    I believe Avasarala is probably the favorite for many fans of the show. I love Amos as well. But I have to ask – in the meantime did you have the chance to meet Shohreh Aghdashloo? I think, we readers, want to know how that meeting goes and if you have, finally, the chance to faint 😉

    1. Sadly, she cancelled her appearance at the convention I attended; however, I did get the chance to meet & speak with Cas Anvar, and he was a very nice guy (and surprisingly, no fainting). 😉

      Thanks again for the kind words, and I hope to continue to maintain your readership! Looking forward to S4 of “The Expanse” as well.
